Kicking off our 80 drink “World Tour” is a signature cocktail from Victoria Falls at the Animal Kingdom Lodge called the Victoria Falls Mist.
The Victoria Falls menu describes this drink as “A light, cool, and refreshing fusion of Van der Hum Tangerine Liqueur, Melon and Banana Liqueurs, Sweet-and-Sour, and Sprite.” The friend who tried this drink described it as “super sweet.” We describe this drink as neon green.
Now, if a light, cool and refreshing, super sweet, neon green drink isn’t what you’re up for when you stop by Victoria Falls, they actually have two other signature drinks to consider:
Mt. Kilimarita “Our ultimate African Margarita with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Van der Hum Tangerine Liqueur, and Sweet-and-Sour with a splash of Cranberry Juice”
Nyami Nyami “Take a walk on the wild side with a frozen blend of Amarula Cream and Banana Liqueur”
(Our apologies if that song is now stuck in your head too.)
The menu provided for Victoria Falls on the Walt Disney World website, for whatever reason, is not complete. But since this is a Disney owned and operated lounge, in addition to the three signature cocktails, you can get any cocktail on the standard lounge menu here as well.
We like Victoria Falls as a spot to grab a pre-dinner drink (Boma and Jiko are just down the stairs) or to relax later in the evening. However, due to its location above the hustle and bustle of Boma, if you visit during dinner hours, it can be pretty noisy. So feel free to get your drink to go, and find a more peaceful spot at the resort to enjoy it.
We’re headed to Downtown Disney for our next drink. Which looked just like a glass of water, but definitely didn’t taste like one.
Check out our Around the World in 80 Drinks map where we’ll be tracking all the drinks and locations throughout this series! (Though maybe not right now…there’s only one pin so far.)
