Changes to Standard Lounge Menu

Easy WDW is reporting some big changes to the standard lounge menu. Lots of cocktail casualties this go- round.  The ones that have been removed are:

Forever Young – Strawberry Julep – Superfruit Margarita – Scottish Raspberry Lemon Drop – Jameson Irish Whiskey Sour – Red Stag Lemonade – Citrus Infusion – Wildberry Margarita – Tennessee Honey

RIP Scottish Raspberry Lemon Drop.

The following cocktails were added:

Heather & Honey Sidecar: Dewar’s Highlander Honey, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Agave nectar, and fresh lemon juice

Jameson Irish Coffee: Jameson Irish Whiskey with hot coffee and a dollop of whipped cream

Pineapple Caipirinha: Leblon Lechaca, lime, pineapple, and agave nectar

Smoked Turkey: Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon, Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon, Grenadine, Odwalla Lemonade, with a hint of hickory smoke, garnished with Luxardo Gourmet Marachino Cherries

Superfruit Tequini: Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Cedilla Acai Liqueur, fresh lime juice and agave nectar

So nine cocktails gone, and five gained.  (Although with four missing, there is just enough to fill an extra page front and back and add it in later…hmmm.)    Don’t despair if your favorite cocktail off the old menu is DOA though, you can still try ordering it and if they have what it was made with on hand (or a reasonable substitution) most bartenders can, and will, mix one up for you.

As for beer, some changes have been made there as well, with a few more craft type beers being added, such as New Belgium’s Fat Tire and SweetWater’s 420 IPA.   It’s definitely good to have some better beer options available.
