Drink 8 is another one of Splitsville’s “martini” offerings, the Snickertini.
This drink is made from vodka, Frangelico, Kahlua, cream, and they line glass with some chocolate syrup, and add some powdered cocoa to the rim as well. Given the name of the drink, I was sort of expecting a caramel liqueur to be included as well, but that is not the case.
When the drink first came out, I thought that looks kind of like the Godiva Chocolate Martini from the standard lounge menu.
And while they are not made from the exact same ingredients (Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liqueur, White Creme de Cacao, and Frangelico for the Godiva Chocolate Martini) the taste of the two drinks is fairly similar. So, if you enjoy the Godiva Chocolate Martini, I’m pretty confident you will enjoy the Snickertini. And if you’ve tried neither, but like chocolate, this one is still for you!
We’ll have our final Splitsville drink tomorrow, and it’s one of their “bowl” drinks.
