This week’s happy hour drink comes from one of our favorite Walt Disney World resorts, the Polynesian. Here’s the recipe for “Ohana’s mai tai:
Fill a glass with ice (even better if you have a tiki glass!) then add:
1 ounce Myer’s Dark Rum
2 ounces orange juice
2 ounces pineapple juice
2 ounces sour mix
dash of lime juice
dash of Orgeat syrup
Add a pineapple wedge, cherry, and paper umbrella for garnish. (Note, we’ve seen this served with other fruit garnish, so feel free to garnish (or not garnish) as you wish. Won’t change the taste of the drink one bit!)

Are you sure there’s only one ounce of rum to six ounces of mix? Seems like a pretty weak drink.
Believe that was an official Disney recipe. Does not surprise us.
