The Portobello Restaurant at Downtown Disney has announced a beer dinner that will take place on February 22, 2012. From their website:
On February 22, 2012, Portobello welcomes Chicago Chefs Tony Mantuano and Sarah Grueneberg for an exclusive Beer Dinner. Portobello’s Executive Chef Steven Richard has teamed up with Spiaggia Chefs Mantuano and Grueneberg to create a four-course, trattoria-inspired menu with perfectly paired brews. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a reception and dinner at 7 p.m. Cost is $59.95 per person, plus tax and service.
Guests will have the opportunity to interact with Chef Mantuano, a collaborator with Portobello and known for his role on Bravo’s Top Chef Masters season two, and Chef Grueneberg, Spiaggia’s Executive Chef and current cheftestant on “Top Chef: Texas.”
The Orlando Brewing Company, the same brewer whose beer is being featured at the new beer sampling at the Contemporary Resort, is also responsible for at least the majority of the beers accompanying this meal.

Biramisu – Portobello’s version of tiramisu made with Orlando Brewing Black Water Porter
