Beers of the World – Bell’s Oberon at ESPN Club

Bell's Oberon

Today’s Beer of the World is Bell’s Oberon Ale from the Bell’s Brewery out of Kalamazoo, Michigan.   You can find it at the ESPN Club at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.

Here’s a description of the beer from the Bell’s Brewery website:

Bell’s Oberon is a wheat ale fermented with Bell’s signature house ale yeast, mixing a spicy hop character with mildly fruity aromas. The addition of wheat malt lends a smooth mouthfeel, making it a classic summer beer.

This beer has a little higher than average ABV of 5.8 percent.   The folks at Beer Advocate have not yet reviewed this beer, but it has had over 1,400 reader reviews and received a pretty high score of 87, which qualifies it for a “Good” rating.    I found the beer to be  refreshing and well suited to the  everlasting “summer”  in Florida.

While actually a seasonal beer in many parts of the country,  I believe they serve it year-round at the ESPN Club so you can enjoy it at any time at Walt Disney World.
